Four Iranian stowaways were pulled from the waters of New York Harbor after leaping off a Panamanian freighter, officials said. They said that a fifth man, who remained on the ship, was being questioned by agents from the Immigration and Naturalization Service. The Coast Guard said it handled the incident as an asylum case and turned over the four men, ranging in age from 23 to 27, to the INS. The freighter Estoril was heading to Port Newark from Istanbul, Turkey.
