Morgan, Lewis & Bockius, a major Philadelphia-based law firm, announced a combination with the Los Angeles law firm of Hahn Cazier & Smaltz, which has 46 lawyers in Los Angeles and San Diego. Partners joining Morgan, Lewis include Edward C. Cazier, director of the E. F. Hutton Group and a director and chairman of the finance committee of the American Cancer Society in California; Donald C. Smaltz, a trial attorney and former president of the Los Angeles Federal Bar Assn., and John G. Davies, former chairman of the San Diego Planning Commission.
