Local Host Families Sought for Program
The American Scandinavian Student Exchange Program is seeking local host families for European, Japanese and Australian girls and boys 15 to 18 who will spend the 1987-88 high school year here as exchange students.
The students, who will arrive in late August, speak English and have spending money and insurance.
Prospective host families may select a student from applications, photographs and biographical essays and are encouraged to correspond with the young people and their families before students arrive.
The American Scandinavian Student Exchange Program, a nonprofit organization affiliated with the Swedish and Finnish Departments of Education, is also interested in hearing from local high school students who would like to study in Europe, Canada or Australia. Academic year and summer terms are available.
