What Comes Around May Be the Clippers

Regarding Mike Downey’s article on the Clippers (“Take This Team . . . “), I’ve got a better idea. Would another paper please take Mike Downey? Maybe the school kids’ Weekly Reader has an opening.

Sure the Clippers are on a terrible, tough luck losing streak, and, of course, they can’t compare with the Lakers. But, Mr. Downey, what goes around comes around. It’s easy to be a Laker fan. Jump on the bandwagon, Mr. Downey. Leave the Clippers to the real basketball fans in L.A. who don’t show up late, leave early and are generally at the game to be seen in the latest outfits and jewels.
