Wardair International agreed to an Airbus deal.
The Edmonton, Alberta, airline announced that it will buy 12 wide-body A-310 aircraft from the European Airbus consortium for $780 million. Wardair said it will fund the purchase through the sale of seven currently owned aircraft, a public stock offering later this year and European export credit financing.
