A 61-year-old woman was run over and killed by a delivery truck behind a Westminster supermarket, police said. Anna Maria Halter of Garden Grove was found under the rear wheel of a tractor-trailer behind the Stater Bros. market at 14600 Brookhurst St. at 11:25 a.m., said Westminster Police Lt. Mike Schliskey. Westminster paramedics treated her at the scene and then rushed her to Fountain Valley Regional Hospital’s trauma center, where she was pronounced dead, he said. The woman, a resident of a board-and-care home, had left for a walk about 10:30 a.m., Schliskey said. An investigation is continuing.
