Dense-Pac Microsystems Reports $2-Million Loss

Blaming diminished sales, high overhead and costly write-downs on inventory, Dense-Pac Microsystems Inc. of Garden Grove reported a nearly $2.1-million loss for the third fiscal quarter ended Nov. 30, contrasted with a $90,969 profit for the same period last year. Total sales came to $757,083, a 33% decline from $1.13 million a year earlier.

The nine-month loss for the maker of memory modules for the military and aerospace industries came to $2.4 million, contrasted with a $181,367 net profit last year. Revenues declined by 25% to $2.6 million from $3.4 million.
