Victoria Principal, said Wednesday she’s quitting “Dallas” at the end of this season. The actress, who has played Pam since the popular prime-time soap opera premiered in 1978, did not say why. A statement released on her behalf said that she was in negotiations regarding her future TV services, including a possible series of her own. “Her contract was up this season,” said Lorimar-Telepictures Productions spokeswoman Barbara Brogliatti. “We had been in discussions with her but were unable to reach an agreement.” There was no immediate word on how the departure will be handled in the plot. “Anything is possible on ‘Dallas,’ ” Brogliatti said.
