Western Digital Discloses New Contracts With IBM

Western Digital Corp., an Irvine-based electronics firm, said it has signed several new, multimillion-dollar contracts with IBM Corp. to supply the New York office machines and computer giant with storage control and communications products throughout 1987.

Roger W. Johnson, the company’s president and chief executive officer, declined to disclose the number or monetary value of the contracts.
