Bodies of Two Found in Wreckage of Plane

CUYAMA, Calif. —
Two people were found dead early Saturday in the wreckage of a small plane in a field in southeastern San Luis Obispo County, a sheriff’s official said.
The identities of the male and female victims were withheld pending notification of relatives, Sgt. Joe Little said. The Civil Air Patrol informed local authorities at 1:10 a.m. that an emergency locater transmitter was signaling, and sheriff’s deputies found the Cessna 172 at 2:47 a.m., Little said. The crash occurred a mile southwest of California 166.
