NBC News, announcing what it called a coming “theme week,” said Monday that its “Today” and”NBC Nightly News” broadcasts will originate live from mainland China Sept. 25-Oct. 2, and report from such cities as Peking and Shanghai. NBC’s weekend news programs and “Meet the Press” also will feature segments from China, the network said.
