Peter Wall, fired last Wednesday as coach...

Peter Wall, fired last Wednesday as coach of the Lazers, has turned down an offer to coach the Kansas City Comets for the remainder of the Major Indoor Soccer League season.

Terms of the offer were not released, but according to a Comet spokesman, Wall was unhappy over the length of the contract. Wall was unavailable for comment.

The Comets, however, are still negotiating with Wall, who is under contract with the Lazers until the end of next season.
