Three McClain Airlines planes were repossesed.

U.S. District Court Judge Harry Hupp ruled that McClain, a small airline based in Phoenix, had to return the three Boeing 727s to Aviation Sales Co. for failure to make lease payments on the planes. The planes--two in Los Angeles and one in Phoenix--were seized by U.S. marshals on Wednesday. McClain’s fleet is reduced to one 727 as a result of the order, and company spokesman Wall Knief said it was uncertain whether the firm would continue operations.
