Supervisor Schabarum continues to advocate the privatization of bus service as a realistic, cost-effective alternative to the RTD.
If his theory is correct I wonder how he would explain the loss of the privately owned Pacific Electric system.
Schabarum should review recent history. He would find that nearly all public transit systems became public when their private operators could no longer make a profit.
