According to police, the motorcycle and the car were traveling eastbound in the 2400 block of Orange Avenue at 9:20 p.m. when Apetroaiea tried to pass the car on the right.

When the driver of the car made a right turn into his driveway, the motorcycle collided with the car, officers said.

Apetroaiea and Crozier were thrown from the motorcycle, according to police officers. Estimates of the speeds of each vehicle were not immediately available Sunday, and an investigation was continuing. The driver of the car was not identified, and neither driver has been cited, police said.
