A ring of attractive and fashionably dressed women armed with potent knockout drugs has been stalking wealthy men in South Florida, going home with them and stealing their valuables. Investigators believe the ring is responsible for at least 20 robberies in the last six months, with takes of $10,000 to $20,000 each, the Fort Lauderdale News and Sun-Sentinel reported. One woman has been arrested. Calling the crimes “unique and dangerous,” detectives said deaths caused by sedatives and hypnotics have been recorded after similar robberies in New York, Los Angeles and Chicago.
