Institute to Open Center: The Braille Institute will open a new community center in San Clemente at 1 p.m. Feb. 26. Classes will be held at the San Clemente Senior Citizen Center, 242 Avenida del Mar, on Thursdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. beginning March 5. Classes include braille reading and writing, typing and crafts. These classes are offered without charge to legally blind adults. For information, call the center at (714) 498-3322.
