“Dynasty” star Joan Collins successfully defended herself Thursday against a contempt-of-court action for failure to surrender tax records to her estranged husband, Peter Holm, 39. Collins, 53, said he also has failed to turn over items that she has sought. Collins, represented by attorney Marvin Mitchelson, testified in Los Angeles County Superior Court that she was particularly anxious for Holms to return a computer needed by her office staff and the bed in which her daughter Katie sleeps when she visits. Collins identified a letter she wrote to Holm on Jan. 26 in which she said: “You have caused me pain and harassment. Why do you do this to someone you love?” “I was appealing to Peter’s better nature to get these things back,” she testified. Holm said in the courthouse hallway before the proceedings: “We had a wonderful marriage, and I’d like to end it without throwing mud.”
