Seven OPEC ministers will meet in Vienna on March 9 to discuss the problems of enforcing the $18-a-barrel official price set by the cartel in December, officials in the United Arab Emirates said. They said they expect other ministers in the 13-nation Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries to attend the meeting. Attending will be the oil ministers of Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Algeria, Libya, Nigeria, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates. The seven are members of the Price Differentials Committee, formed by OPEC at its last meeting in Geneva on Dec. 20 to recommend methods of setting official prices for the group’s various products.
