The drug trial of Jerry Hall, model girlfriend of British rock star Mick Jagger, opened in a Barbados court Friday. Hall, 30, arrived just before the hearing began, while Jagger arrived later. Hall is charged with possession of 20 pounds of marijuana found in a package that she claimed at Grantley Adams International Airport on Jan. 21. Jane Branker, an employee of Mustique Airways, testified that she had placed a tag with Hall’s name on an unidentified cardboard box which had arrived from St. Vincent on Jan. 20. Branker, one of five witnesses to testify Friday, said she had been notified previously that Hall, who was vacationing here, was expecting a package sent via the airline.
