Apasser-by found the body of a 23-year-old man Sunday morning at the base of a popular rock-climbing area in Chatsworth, police said.
The dead man, whose identity is being withheld pending notification of his family, was discovered by a motorist at about 8 a.m. near the base of a rock formation known as Stony Point, Los Angeles Police Lt. Eubank Harvey said. The area is located on Topanga Canyon Boulevard near the Simi Valley Freeway.
