Employees of Rohr Industries Inc. rejected management’s latest contract offer and voted to strike today. Dick Dalton, director of public relations for the aerospace subcontracting firm, said members of locals 755 and 964 of the International Assn. of Machinists and Aerospace Workers turned down what management termed its final offer of a three-year pact offering lump sum bonuses of 10% the first year and 6% for each of the following two years. The vote was taken by about 4,600 union members employed at Rohr’s plants in Chula Vista and Riverside, which employ the bulk of Rohr’s worldwide work force of 8,500.
