Actress Bernadette Peters will be honored as 1987’s Woman of the Year by Harvard University’s Hasty Pudding Theatricals today. She’s to be feted with the traditional parade through Harvard Square and the award of the brass pudding pot. Next week, dancer Mikhail Baryshnikov gets a similar send-up, and the nearly 200-year-old theatrical club opens “Bye Bye Verdi,” a spoof about a country-and-Western troupe and an opera company forced by finances to share the same theater.
