Child-Led Baltimore Has a Blast at Expense of Hapless Lazers, 12-3

Paul Child scored three goals as the Baltimore Blast stretched its winning streak to seven games with a 12-3 rout of the Los Angeles Lazers Wednesday night.

Andy Chapman and Mirsad Kahrovic scored two goals each as the Blast (18-9) handed the Lazers (6-20) their 11th straight loss.

Richard Chinapoo had a goal and three assists for Baltimore and improved two personal streaks. Chinapoo has scored a goal in 10 straight games, one short of a team record, and has scored a point in 14 consecutive games.

The Blast’s 10 second-half goals tied a league record and set a team record for most goals in a half. Baltimore set another team record with seven fourth-quarter goals.

Keith Furphy, Mike Stankovic, Dave McKenzie and Drago each scored a goal for the Blast.

Los Angeles got two goals from Stuart Lee and one from Willie Molano.
