The Sound of Cowbells

Two Sundays in a row (Jan. 18 and 25) my L.A. Times reading started off with a generous dose of homesickness. Thank you, Jerry Hulse, for writing about the sound of cowbells, the thundering waterfalls and the majesty of my beloved Swiss mountains. I grew up in a small town between Luzern and Interlaken. As a teen-ager I biked around the lakes of Brienz and Thun. As I am rereading both articles I am listening to a tape of Swiss yodeling and music.
