Drewry Photocolor Rides Gain Into Profit Column

Drewry Photocolor Corp., based in Burbank, reported third-quarter profit of $27,437, or 5 cents a share, for the period ending Jan. 24, contrasted with a loss of $138,285 for the same period a year earlier. Sales were $7.5 million, up 4.1% against a year ago.
Drewry, a film processor and distributor of photographic equipment, reported nine-month profit of $162,842, a 69.5% increase from the first three quarters in the last fiscal year. Nine-month sales fell 11.2%, to $21.8 million.
