‘Amerika’ Can’t Win, ABC’s 3rd

NEW YORK — Despite its super-hyped miniseries “Amerika,” ABC was third in last week’s prime-time average Nielsen ratings, according to figures released today.

NBC won the week with an average rating of 18.2. CBS had a 16.6 and ABC 16.4. “Amerika” ended up with an average rating of 19.0 and a 29 audience share, a few share points lower than ABC had hoped.
