Members of a homosexual rights group disrupted the closing moments of a public hearing on AIDS testing today, accusing federal health officials of concentrating on AIDS testing instead of funding research.

Several members of a New York group called the Lavender Hill Mob stood up and shouted, “Where is the funding?”

“Where is the funding? Where is Ribivarin?” they chanted, in reference to a drug that has shown promise in AIDS treatment. “It’s around the world but it’s not here.”
