Former heavyweight boxing champion George Foreman, planning a comeback after 10 years on the shelf, is scheduled to fight in Sacramento next Tuesday night, but finding a suitable opponent has become a problem.
The first opponent, Bob Hitzenberger of Chicago, was rejected by the California Athletic Commission for lack of experience as a 10-round fighter. The second, Lorenzo Boyd, was rejected by Foreman.
The latest opponent, according to promoter Don Chargin, is Larry Frazier of Seattle, a former world-ranked heavyweight. But Foreman has yet to approve him.
