Armand Assante and Jacqueline Bisset have been signed for the title roles in “Napoleon and Josephine: A Love Story,” a six-hour miniseries that Warner Bros. plans to film in Europe this spring for ABC. The dramatic biography of the two French leaders will be broadcast during the 1987-88 season.

Dick Van Dyke, Redd Foxx and Geoffrey Holder are starring in a comedy film for CBS called “Ghost of a Chance.” Foxx plays a piano player who is accidentally killed by a police detective (Van Dyke). Foxx comes back to haunt the cop, with guidance from an angel played by Holder.

People: Married couple Eli Wallach and Anne Jackson, along with their daughter, Katherine Jackson, will appear in the episode of “Highway to Heaven” that airs Wednesday on NBC. . . . Melba Moore, who starred in a short-lived series on TV last season, has joined the cast of CBS’ “Falcon Crest.” She’ll be seen starting Friday as an adoption attorney.

Bonnie Bedelia will portray a cancer patient who considers suicide instead of a protracted illness in “When the Time Comes,” a movie that ABC has commissioned. Terry O’Quinn portrays her husband and Brad Davis is cast as a longtime friend to whom she turns for support.
