I have been a fan of “Valerie”...

I have been a fan of “Valerie” since it began. I was proud to watch it with my family on Feb. 8 when the episode concerned birth control. The program was done in very good taste and should not have offended anyone. The mother’s speech to her son was was both loving and realistic. Thanks to the writers and cast for speaking out on an important issue.
