Youth Impresses Girlfriends--Gets Clawed by Tiger
From Reuters
SEOUL, South Korea —
Schoolboy Chung Min Ho jumped into an open-air tiger pen to impress his girlfriends but a startled tiger attacked him, biting his arms, legs, neck and chest.
Seoul Zoo officials said one of Chung’s friends threw a scarf into the pen Sunday and dared him to pick it up. The 16-year-old was attacked as soon as he entered the pen. Tamers took 10 minutes to separate the tiger from its victim, who was later reported in critical condition in a hospital.
