Afghan warplanes made their third raid on Pakistan border villages and refugee camps in less than a week, officials in Pakistan reported. They said two MIGs dropped several bombs on an Afghan refugee camp at Khairabad near Arandu, 140 miles northwest of Islamabad, killing one person and wounding four. Last week, Afghan planes bombed four border camps and villages, killing nearly 100 people, including seven Pakistani relief officials, officials said. An estimated 3 million Afghan refugees live in Pakistan, most of them in border camps that are bases and supply points for guerrillas fighting the Afghan government and Soviet troops.
