Westwood : 2 at UCLA to Receive Awards

Dr. Kay R. Jamison and Patricia Anaya will receive awards from the UCLA Medical Auxiliary on April 15 at the Faculty Center.
Jamison, UCLA associate professor of psychiatry and behavioral sciences, will receive the Woman of Science Award. Anaya, senior administrative analyst in the UCLA School of Medicine, will receive the Golden Bruin Award.
Dr. Irving Zabin, associate dean of the School of Medicine, will present both women with gold medallions.
Jamison is the co-founder and director of the UCLA Affective Disorders Clinic, established in 1977. Anaya coordinates the Medical Science Training Program, a six-year MD/Ph.D curriculum program in the School of Medicine.
