Net Income Declines 86% at Dick Clark Productions
Burbank-based Dick Clark Productions said net income for its second quarter ended Dec. 31 was down 86% from the same period a year earlier to $232,500, or 3 cents per share. Sales for the quarter were down 59% to $5.2 million.
The company said the previous year’s results were unusually high because of the delivery of a television movie and additional episodes of a TV series.
For the six months, the company earned $1.8 million, or 26 cents per share, down 21% from the year-earlier period. Sales were down 26% to $14.1 million.
