Supertenor Placido Domingo will pay an undisclosed sum to a British concert promoter for canceling a London appearance at the last minute, a Domingo spokesman said Thursday. The Spanish singer and his management team faced a $159,000 lawsuit in London brought by promoter Jeffrey Kruger, who commented to reporters: “They have made us an offer which is very fair, and there has been an amicable settlement.”
