East German Saved by Tear in His Trousers

EAST BERLIN —
A 27-year-old East German was saved by his trousers Thursday when he fell from a sixth-floor window of his Potsdam home, the ADN news agency said.
It said the man was cleaning the windows when he slipped, but as he fell a rip in his pants caught on the window ledge, leaving him dangling.
