An enigmatic yarn about two boyhood friends, reunited after 25 years, which proves you can’t go home again. Their quest for a third buddy descends into “Waiting for Godot” territory as the trail of their elusive quest becomes littered with gangsters and molls. In the title roles, Yves Afonso and Jean-Francois Stevenin (who also wrote and directed) prove far worthier than the confines of the psychological-thriller trappings this film would normally allow.
