“I hate to be pigeonholed,” says Scottish-born singer Sheena Easton. Since her 1981 breakthrough to No. 1 with “Morning Train,” she’s racked up hits in a variety of musical styles, including pop, rock, R&B;, disco and country. The two-time Grammy winner’s fashion image is equally diverse. Presented with a roomful of new spring looks by some of the world’s top designers, the 5-foot-1 Easton sniffed at most classics (“just not my style”) and chose instead an assortment that ranged from Valentino (almost $4,000) to Betsey Johnson (less than $100). All her selections are body-conscious and bare, which just happens to be the fashion direction of the new season.
