“Hill Street Blues” quietly finished filming its shows for this season and, possibly, for good. There are strong indications that the series will not return on NBC’s fall schedule. Whether it’s renewed or not, many “Hill Street” regulars--including Capt. Furillo (Daniel J. Travanti)--will not be back. “It’s not going to hang on,” said Betty Thomas, who plays Sgt. Lucille Bates. “I know I’m not going to be there. Travanti isn’t going to be there. And a bunch of other people are not going to be there. The network isn’t really considering keeping it on. But they’re afraid to announce it’s going to stop. They don’t want people to just quit watching.”
