It’s based on a true story. . . . Dennis Farina will portray Jane Alexander’s husband who’s an unemployed accountant with a gambling problem in the CBS movie “Open Admissions,” now shooting in Chicago. . . . Paul Sand has joined ABC’s Katherine Helmond pilot “Mona” as the hotel doorman “who’s blown one too many whistles.” .
