“Dangerous Moves” (Switzerland, 1983, 5 p.m.). High intrigue in the world of international chess, as a young lion (who is also a Soviet defector) challenges the ailing Russian champion, his youthful idol. The unusally good cast includes Michel Piccoli, Alexander Arbutt, Liv Ullmann, Leslie Caron and Daniel Olbrychski. Oscar winner Richard Dembo wrote and directed.
