"Retribution" (U.S.A., 1987, 7:15 p.m.). Dennis Lipscomb assays the role of a tormented artist possessed by a vengeful dead man in this interesting, if overwrought, psychic thriller. The full array of telekinetic phenomena is on display in this essentially simple potboiler, but director Guy Magar is often at sea with the paraphenalia when he ought to be cutting to the meat of the story. Yet--apart from some inane dialogue and characterization--he manages to be effectively chilling.
