Peters, 45, comes to the subsidiaries after having served four years as general manager of West Coast operations for Helene Curtis Industries Inc. in the City of Industry, where he redesigned the facility to cut costs and increase productivity. He has also served in management positions at Dynachem Corp., a Tustin division of Morton/Thiokol Inc., from 1977 to 1983, and at McGaw Laboratories (now Baxter Travenol) in Irvine from 1973 to 1977.
