Trojan Baseball Team Hoping to End Two Losing Streaks Today Against UCLA

The USC baseball team will try to end a couple of streaks when it opens a three-game Pacific 10 Southern Division series with UCLA today at 1 p.m. at Jackie Robinson Stadium.
USC has a 176-68 record against UCLA in the series that began in 1928, but the Bruins have won 10 straight and 11 of the last 12 after losing 8 straight. UCLA also has won the last six games played at Jackie Robinson Stadium.
The Bruins (18-9-1 overall, 8-4 in conference) are in first place in the Southern Division and have won six of their last seven games. The Trojans (21-9, 6-3) are a half-game behind UCLA.
The second game is Monday at 7 p.m. at Dedeaux Field, and the third game is Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Jackie Robinson Stadium.
