Negotiations resume today in the newswriters’ strike at ABC and CBS, now in its third week. Representatives of the 525 striking members of the Writers Guild of America and their ABC and CBS employers held nearly eight hours of talks Sunday but failed to come to an agreement. “Substantial movement” was reported during a meeting Saturday, but “key issues” remained unresolved, according to Writers Guild spokesman Martin Waldman.
