Energy Factors has agreed to acquire GWF Power Systems Co. and Combustion Power Co. Inc. from Allied-Signal Inc. for an undisclosed amount, the companies said Monday.

GWF and Combustion Power have 165 megawatts of electric co-generation plants under construction in California, according to Energy Factors Chairman Robert E. Morris. The plants will provide steam to industrial clients and electricity to Pacific Gas & Electric Co.

San Diego-based Energy Factors develops and operates cogeneration plants that provide electrical power and thermal energy.
