200 Protest Delays in AIDS Drugs; 17 Arrested

NEW YORK —
More than 200 protesters enraged by delays in offering experimental drugs to AIDS patients marched near Wall Street during the morning rush hour today and 17 people were arrested for disorderly conduct, police said.
“We cannot wait 10 years for an AIDS drug!” one protester shouted in front of Trinity Church in the heart of the city’s financial district.
