Chocolate Bunnies Join Fight on AIDS
A Frankfurt confectioner has joined forces with a local AIDS counseling and information group to produce chocolate Easter bunnies with “safe sex” surprises inside--condoms.
A spokesman for Frankfurt’s AIDS Help group Monday said the candy maker has already sold out an initial batch of 300 bunnies, each about four inches tall with a condom inside and going for about $2.70.
The gimmick is the second effort by the group in the fight against acquired immune deficiency syndrome so far this year. The group persuaded the city magazine Pflasterstrand to include condoms in 13,000 copies of its February issue.
