Covington Technologies Reports Net of $1.9 Million

Covington Technologies, the Fullerton-based builder of low-cost housing, reported 1986 net income of $1.9 million, contrasted with a 1985 net loss of $6.6 million.

Revenue for the 12 months ended Dec. 31 more than doubled to $82.9 million, from $37.9 million in 1985.

During 1985, a Covington spokeswoman said, the company was plagued by losses in its general contracting and manufacturing operations. The spokeswoman said the company does not release separate earnings and revenue figures for its fourth quarter.
